These terms govern your use of ehsebly, a bill-splitting app built and operated by Eslam Radi. ehsebly is currently a private test build shared with friends and family, not a publicly distributed product. By using it, you agree to these terms.
ehsebly reads a photographed receipt, lets you assign items to the people who ordered them, and computes each person's fair share — including their proportional share of tax and service. That's it. ehsebly is a calculation tool, not a payments service, an ongoing expense-tracking ledger for indefinite ongoing use (beyond the Groups feature's household/trip scope), or a substitute for reading your own receipt.
Receipt reading (OCR) and the tax/service math are done in good faith and reviewed against real receipts during development, but neither is guaranteed to be error-free — a misread price or an unusual receipt format can happen. ehsebly always shows you the printed total alongside its computed total specifically so you can catch a mismatch before relying on the split. ehsebly is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and you're responsible for reviewing a split before acting on it (e.g., before paying or telling others what they owe).
ehsebly does not process, hold, transmit, or have access to money in any form, in this test build or any future version. It produces a number. Settling up — via InstaPay, Vodafone Cash, cash, bank transfer, or anything else — happens entirely outside ehsebly, between you and the people you split with. ehsebly is not a party to that transaction and bears no responsibility for it.
Using Groups requires verifying a phone number you control. You're responsible for keeping your session secure on your own device and for the accuracy of what you enter (group names, expense amounts, who paid). Because this is a private test build, we may reset, migrate, or delete test data at any time without notice — don't treat Groups as a permanent financial record during this phase.
Don't use ehsebly for anything illegal, don't attempt to disrupt, abuse, or gain unauthorized access to the service, and don't use it to store or transmit content you don't have the right to share.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ehsebly and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including a miscalculated split, a dispute between people splitting a bill, or a payment sent to the wrong person based on ehsebly's output. Your use of ehsebly is at your own discretion and risk.
As a private test build, ehsebly may change, break, or become unavailable without notice. We may suspend or end access for any user at any time during this phase, including simply because the test has concluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
We'll update the date above when these terms change, and tell existing Groups users directly for any change that matters.
